And I wonder if we think of this as a historic moment for Columbia, how you imagine it’s going to be remembered. It was something truly unimaginable, over 100 students slash other individuals are arrested from our campus, forcefully removed. And although they were suspended, there was a feeling of traumatic event that has just happened to these students, but also this sense of like, OK, the worst of the worst that could have happened to us just happened. And you have all of those people not necessarily out of commission, but with their focus elsewhere.

Check out the metropolis's sightlines, hills, and blue sky while eating burrata, pasta, and grilled meats and vegetables. Terra also has a reasonable tasting menu for $65 per person. This San Fernando Valley favorite keeps things simple. Somehow, the staff perfected a few things with the signature batter for fish and chips. Ocean House ….serves guests as well as the community. Nothing is more relaxing than watching the sunset over the ocean while sipping champagne on the hotel verandah.

The deep-fried shrimp tacos from Mariscos Jaliscos are an iconic LA dish but don’t sleep on the rest of the menu from this legendary seafood truck, which has a few locations around town. The cocteles are outstanding, as are the seafood tostadas. Parsons added that they have not declared the fire under control yet, but are “almost there.” The fire chief said that he is optimistic all fire activity will subside by Saturday. Residents as far east as Vista and as far south as Del Mar reported being able to see the smoke.
